Belarusian Christmas in London
The traditional Kaliady (Christmas) celebration with entertainment and refreshment

There will be the traditional, well-loved ‘batlejka’ (Belarusian Christmas puppet show) given by Paul Shautsou. How will he give the traditional story a modern twist this year? Come and find out.
Saint Nicolas will be giving out presents, so please, if you are coming with children, make sure to have a present prepared for each child and hand it over to Paul before the performance.
If you can, come in Belarusian national costume. Be prepared to sing Belarusian and English carols!
There is no charge for this event; a collection will be made.
All offers of traditional seasonal food and drink – both Belarusian and English – will be gratefully received.
